Spanner can help turn your car details into an advert.
Could suit you if…
- You have convenient, regular charging at home, work or nearby: an electric car could fit your day-to-day routine.
- You prefer a higher seating position: this SUV/crossover type may suit. Try getting in and out; the body shape alone does not prove extra seats or four-wheel drive.
- You would prefer less gear changing in traffic: the recorded automatic transmission may suit. Try how this exact gearbox behaves on a test drive.
Think twice if…
- You need room for several children or extra passengers: the seat count is not recorded. Confirm this exact version's seats and child-seat fit; do not assume from the model name.
- You often travel far with little time to stop: check the battery's condition, realistic winter range and charging speed for this exact version.
- You are buying your first car or have a tight insurance budget: Spanner flags a higher insurance band. Get your own quote before paying a deposit.
This is general guidance about this type of car and your needs — not an inspection or approval of this individual car.
This is almost certainly the Audi e-tron (full-size electric SUV) from around 2020 — a heavy, well-insulated premium EV with a large high-voltage battery and DC fast-charging capability. Real-world range will vary with spec and heater use, and the car benefits from software/charging-management updates, so check the car has the latest dealer updates and any remaining battery warranty.
- High-voltage battery state-of-health report and an independent range test; check remaining battery warranty (often 8 years) and any recorded battery repairs
- CCS charging port and DC charging speed — confirm it reaches expected rapid-charge rates and includes the Type 2/CCS cable(s)
- 12V battery history and HVAC/thermal management operation (preconditioning and heating affect range badly if faulty)
- Service history for software updates and inverter/motor recalls; inspect brake discs for corrosion and tyres for uneven wear caused by the car's weight
- ADAS cameras/sensors and parking cameras (these can be expensive to recalibrate/repair)
