The 2021 Stepwagon with Honda's hybrid petrol automatic uses a self-charging e:HEV-style system with an e-CVT-like transaxle — no plug-in charging required. Many Stepwagons in Ireland are Japanese imports and are right-hand drive; sliding rear doors and a tall, boxy cabin are standard on most trims, and the third row is best for children or occasional use. Parts and some hybrid-specific servicing (inverter/battery cooling) can be slightly slower or need a Honda specialist compared with mainstream European MPVs.
