The PV7 is Kia's large electric SUV (7-seat) and will use a single-speed automatic EV drivetrain with CCS rapid-charge compatibility and Kia's manufacturer warranty. Expect useful kit for families (multiple USB points, flexible 3rd-row seating) but check the certified towing limit if you plan to tow—large EVs often have lower tow ratings than equivalent ICE SUVs. Battery condition and charging history are the most important things for long-term ownership.
- Ask for a battery state-of-health or initial diagnostic report and review any history of frequent rapid-charging.
- Check the CCS charging socket, included charging cables/adapters and that home charging (Mode 3) lead is present and undamaged.
- Operate 3rd-row seats: latches, folding mechanism and ISOFIX/child-seat anchorage points for ease of use and secure fit.
