Could suit you if…
- You have convenient, regular charging at home, work or nearby: an electric car could fit your day-to-day routine.
- You want practical access for everyday shopping and bags: the hatchback opening may suit your routine. Check actual boot space.
- You would prefer less gear changing in traffic: the recorded automatic transmission may suit. Try how this exact gearbox behaves on a test drive.
Think twice if…
- You need room for several children or extra passengers: the seat count is not recorded. Confirm this exact version's seats and child-seat fit; do not assume from the model name.
- You often travel far with little time to stop: check the battery's condition, realistic winter range and charging speed for this exact version.
This is general guidance about this type of car and your needs — not an inspection or approval of this individual car.
This is a purpose‑built small electric hatchback with a single‑speed automatic drive — fewer moving parts than an ICE means lower routine servicing and no gearbox or clutch wear. Check the battery warranty and what level-of-capacity retention it guarantees, and note that real-world range will vary with heater use and rapid‑charging habits. Expect CCS fast‑charging support and adjustable regen/one‑pedal braking on most trims.
- Battery state‑of‑health baseline/report and the written battery warranty terms (capacity retention limits, years/km)
- CCS rapid‑charge acceptance and that a Type‑2 / domestic charging cable is present and working
- Infotainment, connected services and ADAS features are activated and updated (software issues are common on new EVs)
- Tyre age and specification (new cars can sit in transit — check production date on the tyre sidewall)
- Exterior gaps and paint around doors and tailgate for transit damage or poor fitment
