This is Toyota's self-charging petrol hybrid with an eCVT automatic — not a plug-in, so there is no charge port and the car recovers energy through regenerative braking. The hybrid system is generally very reliable and helps cut fuel use in mixed driving; check the dealer paperwork for the exact hybrid-battery warranty period.
